1. 1.Continue to provide our citizens with the lowest tax rate for any city in the county. Quality, efficient services provided at a reasonable cost.
   

2. 2.Maintain a fiscally conservative budget. Proactive Government, not reactive.
   

3. 3.Secure additional state and federal dollars for the South Parkway rebuild and other street overlays.
   

4. 4.Promote economic development for jobs, business expansion and a shop-in-Battle Ground philosophy.
   

5. 5.Enhance our parks, recreational areas, bikeways and sidewalks.
   

6. 6.Explore locations and gain regional  support for sports and aquatic complexes.
   

7. 7.Control growth to insure a strong and livable community.
   

8. 8.Keep our water, sewer and storm water rates at or below the state average.
   

9. 9.Build a positive relationship with our public and private schools.
   

10. 10. Maintain our outstanding police, fire/rescue and EMS services.
